Can I do online sessions?

There are times when we may not be able to do a session in person due to distance, busy schedule, illness or for any other reasons. My Compassionate Inquiry, Kinesiology and Mind Body Medicine can also be provided online, as energy is not confined by time or space.

How long is a session?

Sessions can vary from person to person and can differ each time. However below is information to give you a guide.

For adults (ages18+), the initial session will last around two hours, and follow- up sessions will be about 90 minutes if we continue working on the same intention or issue.

For children and teens (ages 5 to 18+), the initial session will last up to 60 minutes, and follow-up sessions will be up to 45 minutes if we continue working on the same intention or issue.

What happens in a session?

Typically, we begin by discussing the reasons for your visit. This may be followed by a Compassionate Inquiry counselling phase before we proceed with the bodywork.

During the bodywork, we use muscle monitoring to access core beliefs stored in your subconscious mind, which you may not be consciously aware of.

The process I apply gentle pressure to your muscles, acupuncture points or body areas. The body’s response to this test gives information about your nervous system, your physical and emotional state. It can reveal imbalances and core issues related to health, stress, or other factors.

Based on this information, I will determine the most effective methods and vibrational medicine tools to use.

What can I do if I have issues with touch?

If you have concerns about touch, I can provide a somatic therapeutic approach to psychotherapy as a powerful alternative, allowing us to work with both your body and subconscious mind. I have also successfully assisted my online clients using this method.

Could you explain why Sansan’s sessions are longer compared to those of other kinesiologists or similar therapies?

The extended duration of my sessions allows for an in-depth exploration of your core beliefs using Compassionate Inquiry, a somatic therapeutic approach to psychotherapy created by Dr. Gabor Maté. This method gently uncovers and releases layers of childhood trauma, constriction, limiting beliefs and suppressed emotions embedded in the body, which are at the root of physical, mental illness and addiction. It goes beyond conventional counselling.

The bodywork that follows incorporates Traditional Chinese Medicine techniques to alleviate emotional stress. During this phase, I will apply light pressure on one or two acupuncture points for about 30 to 40 minutes, while guiding you into a meditative state and let you drift into a calming state. This practice is supported by research, which shows that holding these points for this duration is highly effective in relieving emotional stress.

These elements contribute to the longer duration of my sessions compared to those of other kinesiologists or similar therapists.

What happens in between sessions?

After your sessions, I will provide care advice to help integrate the work we’ve done in clinic. You may also receive specific practices to support you in this process. Additionally, session notes will be emailed to you for your reference.

How many sessions do I need?

I recommend 4 to 6 sessions, generally spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart. This timeline allows us to thoroughly explore the core issues and create effective, personalised solutions for meaningful and lasting change.

Now is the time to act. The sooner you begin, the sooner you can free yourself from this problem.

Do you offer packages?

Yes. They can be purchased after your initial session, with the 6-session package being especially popular. This package is valid for 12 months from the purchase date. Please reach out to determine the package that best suits your needs.

What should I wear to a session?
Please wear something comfortable. Leggings or pants and a top made of lighter material are preferred over heavy sweaters or jeans, as this makes it easier for me to locate muscles and acupuncture points during the session. You will remain fully clothed during the session, apart from shoes or any heavy clothing such as jackets or coats.
Do I need to prepare anything before I come to see you?

After you make your initial contact with me, we might have a phone conversation to ensure I am the right practitioner for you and that we're well- suited to work together.

Once your booking is confirmed, I'll send you a commencement form to complete at least 48 hours before our first session. This will give me time to prepare and research if there are any unfamiliar conditions.

Please come to your session with an open heart and mind.

What do I need to do if I cannot make it to my appointment?

I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise. If you are unable to attend your appointment, please notify me at least 24 hours in advance. This allows me to adjust my schedule, offer the slot to other clients, and reschedule your appointment to the earliest available time.

How do I make a payment?

Payment is required at the end of your session. Packages are to be paid in full in advance.

PayID and bank transfers are accepted. However, cash is preferred.

The overall purpose of these therapy is to be free of the issues which brought you to me. Every session is with the intention that one day you will not need to see me anymore. Your freedom is the ultimate intention.
